Any child who will be five years of age on or before November 1, 2012, is eligible to enter kindergarten for the 2012-13 school year. Los Alamitos Unified School District wants every child to be prepared for success in school. To ensure that kindergarten children are fully able to achieve success in the increasingly rigorous, State-standards-based curriculum, we are offering Developmental Kindergarten in addition to our regular kindergarten.For more information on Developmental Kindergarten, see the Developmental Kindergarten page.


Kindergarten Tours
Parents are encouraged to attend one of the Scheduled Kindergarten tours at each of our six elementary schools in February. Each school has three tours scheduled in February. Click on the Kindergarten Tour flyer below for more information.

 

School Tours are for adults only and last approximately one hour. 

Kindergarten Registration week is March 5 - March 9, 2012. Click on the Kindergarten information flyer for information specific about each school below to learn more information regarding registration at the desired site.

We are delighted to register your child for school and begin the exciting journey of academics and personal growth together. The following registration forms can be completed interactively within the template darkened areas, then press print; or you may print the blank forms to complete by hand. The registration forms must be completed in one session. The information cannot be saved as a file for later access.

When the forms are completed follow the directions on the cover page and take all the registration items to your determined school site.
