Hello parents and students. Second grade is an exciting year for learning and fun.Every day we learn more about reading, writing, math, and most importantly - thinking! And of course we integrate plenty of science and social studies, art and music and work to be physically active.
Announcements
Homework is always due Thursdays. the students first homework packet will come home on September 16th, the Thursday following Back to School Night. New homework packets are sent home on Thursday.

September News
We will be learning more about apples. September brings us new crops of apples in an ever increasing beautiful and tasty variety. We will be graphing our favorites as part of our healthy diet curriculum and reading directions as we prepare a favorite apple recipe. Part of the Social Studies curriculum is also learning about our natural resources. We will be learning where apples are grown and how they come to our tables. Be ready to shop for your favorites and describe them in mouth watering detail!
