Today is Sunday, May 26, 2013     Rankings aren't everything... And neither are test scores.  But when things like this get published, they do seem to validate all the creativity, innovation, and effort that goes into making Los Al what it is each and every day for our students and families.   The Newsweek / Daily Beast High School Rankings came out this week, and Los Al now ranks in the top 1% of all high schools in the America.  (For a full list of rankings, CLICK HERE.)     News & Announcements   Attention Seniors:  It’s time to place your final transcript request with the Records Office, before or after school, nutrition, and lunch.  These transcripts are not automatically sent without your final order, made in person at the Records Office, nor will your counselor make it for you.  Be sure to clear all Media Center fees, fines and charges before graduation because any outstanding item will place a hold order on final transcripts.  Please fill out the YELLOW request form located in the Records Office.  Make sure to check with the Records Office to confirm payment of your senior fee.  Transcripts will be processed and mailed within 5 days of posting the final grades to your transcript.    Class of 2013 IMPORTANT SENIOR INFORMATION   Find out about awards night, senior meetings, caps & gowns, yearbooks, Baccalaureate, senior luncheon, grad practice, graduation, graduation tickets, and grad night. Seniors will attend all regular classes. Finals will be given on Monday in English, science, and elective classes. Finals will be given on Tuesday in math, social science, and world language classes.
