Come listen to McAuliffe's Instrumental Music groups at their Winter Concert in the LAHS Performing Arts Center on Monday, December 9th at 7:00 pm. The concert will feature the Begining, Intermediate & Advanced Bands, the Orchestra, and the award winning McAuliffe Jazz Band.
As part of McAuliffe’s Veterans Day celebration, students in grades six, seven and eight were asked during Social Science classes to add to “Our Veterans Wall” by identifying family members who are serving or who have served in the military. Each red and blue star identified the student, family member and the branch of the military in which they served. The wall will be displayed in the Main Office as a tribute to all past and present members of the military for their valor, service and patriotism.
Nine McAuliffe students, under the supervision of Mrs. Sherry Tanaka, created an entry for Orange County’s Red Ribbon Banner contest which won 1st prize! Their banner will be used in schools across the county to publicize the 2014-2015 Red Ribbon week. Congratulations to Kyle Hall, Brandon Bandley, Kayla Moore, JiaJing Zhang, Kennedy Schilz, Eleanor Williams, Luca Costa, Colby Tai & Evan Scales!
