Box Tops for Education
The Box Tops for Education program is one of the many fundraising activities managed by Project SEEK in support of McGaugh’s Art Lab, Media Center/Innovation Lab, and Computer Lab.
What are Box Tops? Many grocery and office products you probably already purchase have a pink and blue rectangular “Box Top for Education” logo on the package. Each Box Top is worth 10¢ for our school. Clip it and bring it to class. It’s that easy!
In previous years, we have raised as much as $5,000 for supplemental programs at McGaugh through this simple fundraiser.
BOX TOP PRODUCTS
You will be amazed at how many products have Box Tops on the package:
- General Mills Cereals
- Nature Valley
- Betty Crocker
- Hefty trash bags and tableware
- Progresso soups
- Scott paper products
- Yoplait yogurt
- Green Giant vegetables
- Ziploc bags
- Avery and Boise paper products
HOW IT WORKS
Box Tops are collected through classroom contests and in the office. For classroom contests, students drop off their Box Tops in a classroom collection box. Box Tops are then compiled and submitted by a volunteer Box Top parent from each classroom.
Contests are held throughout the school year, with prizes awarded to the classrooms with the most Box Tops.
