• Chrome Certificate Installation

    If you are logged into a chromebook with a @golosal.net or @losal.org account, you DO NOT need to install certificates. Proceed with accessing the internet through the LosalBYOD network.
    Notice: The following steps are only for individuals that are unable to login to a chromebook with a @golosal.net or losal.org account, and will involve manually installing two certificates.
    Step 3: Open the browser, and in the upper-right corner click on the “3-dots” to access the menu. Then select the “Settings” option.
    Step 4: Type “certificate” into the search bar at the top of the page. Then click on the option to “Manage certificates”.
    Step 5: Click on the tab for “Authorities” and then click the link to “Import”.
    Step 6: Select the “Downloads” section from the options on the left, and click on the file named “securly_ca_2034.pem” (This is the 1st certificate). Then click the “Open” button.
    Step 7: Check mark all 3 options for trust settings: Identifying websites, Identifying email users, and Identifying software makers. Then click “OK”.
    Step 8: On the settings page for “Manage certificates”, click the "Import" link again.
    Step 9: Select the “Downloads” section from the options on the left, and click on the file named “cert_dofca01_root.crt” (This is the 2nd certificate). Then click the “Open” button.
    Step 10: Check mark all 3 options for trust settings: Identifying websites, Identifying email users, and Identifying software makers. Then click “OK”.
