    The purpose of this council shall be:
    • Development of the School Plan
    • Review the implementation of the School Plan
    • Assess the effectiveness of the school program
    • Review and update the School Plan
    • Approve appropriate budget items
    • Advise the administration and the school staff regarding local school-related real and perceived needs, issues, and problems
    • Facilitate two-way communication between the school and the community it serves
