    In order to utilize the LosAlBYOD network, devices must perform a one-time install of two security certificates. Please select your device type below and follow the directions.

    Los Alamitos USD provides WiFi access to all students, staff, and approved guest. All traffic is monitored for Federal and State internet compliance and use is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy shown below. Application usage is also tracked.

    Los Alamitos Acceptable Use Policy

    The Los Alamitos Unified School District recognizes and supports advances in technology. While these technologies provide a valuable resource to the District, it is important that the District's use of technology be appropriate for District purposes.

    District technology includes, but is not limited, to the District's Internet/Intranet/Extranet-related systems, the computer network including Internet access through the network, storage media, and office equipment. Use of District technology by each and every employee, student, volunteer, contractor, or other individual shall constitute that person's acknowledgment of and agreement to abide by the District's Technology Policies as well as local and state laws. Los Alamitos Unified School District Policies include 445 and 238. District technology, including the data and products of its use, is the property of the District.

    The District reserves the right to monitor the use of District technology without notice and consent to ensure that public resources are appropriately used for District-related business; applicable District policies and regulations, including those regarding harassment and nondiscrimination, are followed; any personal use of District technology does not interfere with District business or job duties and is minimal in terms of use and cost.

    Such material includes, but is not limited to: Copyrighted, trademarked, or patented material; Inaccurate, disruptive, threatening, racist, or discriminatory, sexist or obscene material. "Obscene material" is defined as (a) the subject as a whole appeals to the prurient interest of the average person, using contemporary community standards; (b) the work depicts or describes in a patently offensive way sexual conduct proscribed by the state statute, and (c) the work as a whole lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value."
